 Junior Auxiliary members work with school counselors to provide clothing and backpacks to needy school children in the community. Preparations are made during the summer to be ready for the school year.

Share and Wear Work Days at Annie Camp
The JA clothes closet is located inside Annie Camp Jr. High.
(Each member should work 2 hours on your assigned day - anytime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.)
Donations are accepted and appreciated. Yes, you are eligible for a tax receipt.
The following are a few helpful hints about what the closet can use.
"What to Share"
all sizes 4T - adult:
jeans(genlty worn)
shirts(long/short)-stain-free
winter coats
toboggans/scarves/gloves
new underwear/bras
new socks
gently worn tennis shoes or school appropriate shoes(closed heel and toe)
sweat or athletic type suits
any elastic waist leggings/sweatpants
two-piece style PJ's or pajama bottoms with shirts
shorts(knee-length) |
"What NOT to Share"
sandals/heels/dress shoes/cleats
women/men suits
sport coats/ties
pantyhose
used undergarments of any kind
backpacks/purses
dresses/skirts
formal attire
any out of date clothing(such as something you haven't worn in several years)
